New Orleans, LA (12/28/2022). The New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) is asking for the public’s assistance in locating two subjects wanted for questioning in a May 15, 2022, homicide investigation in Seventh District.
Kobe Mitchell, 19, was identified as the victim, The New Orleans coroner said the cause of death was a gunshot wound.
On Sunday, May 15, 2022, at approximately 7:08 p.m., a Homicide by Shooting occurred in the 5100 block of Norgate Drive.Â
Through NOPD investigation, Shawndell Taylor, Pictured top right, Black male DOB: 07/2/1999, and Danny Lumar (pictured bottom right, Black Male DOB: 08/4/2003) have been identified as persons of interest in the ongoing homicide investigation.
The subjects are not wanted, only needed for questioning as investigators believe they may have information vital to the investigation.
