May 20, 2026—More than 1,100 guests were in attendance as Acadian Ambulance honored Paramedic Hailey Reviere and EMT Jinina Wilson at its 2026 Medics of the Year celebration, held in Lafayette, LA. They were selected from 32 paramedics and EMTs who represent each of the company’s service areas, as well as Acadian Air Med, Acadian Health, and Safety Management Systems.
At the event, held in conjunction with National EMS Week, Acadian recognized its entire medical team of EMRs, ECAs, van operators, EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, flight paramedics and nurses, remote paramedics, and community paramedics for the compassionate, high-level care they deliver to patients every day.
Reviere represents Acadian Ambulance’s Hub City region, which spans Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, Vermilion and Iberia Parishes.
A graduate of National EMS Academy, she has been a dedicated member of Acadian since January 2018, bringing eight years of skilled paramedic experience. She consistently demonstrates clinical excellence, professionalism, and compassionate patient care.
Reviere’s exceptional clinical skills, sound judgment, and calm presence allow her to deliver thorough, evidence-based care on every call. She serves as a Field Training Officer (FTO), Critical Care Transport (CCT) Paramedic, Preceptor, and strike team member, mentoring new medics and setting the standard for performance. Recognized with multiple Meritorious Service Awards, Reviere consistently goes above and beyond, balancing her professional dedication with commitment to her family and exemplifying integrity, leadership, and a true servant’s heart.
Not Just Mine
“This award is not just mine — it reflects the support, guidance, and encouragement of so many people who have helped me along the way. I want to thank my family, friends, mentors, and everyone who believed in me and gave me the opportunity to grow,” Reviere said in her remarks. “Receiving this inspires me to keep working hard and to continue doing my best.”
Wilson represents Acadian’s North Louisiana region, which spans Ouachita, Caddo and Bossier Parishes.
She has consistently stepped forward to meet operational needs, demonstrating pride in both patient care and her station. Early in her career, she set clear goals to progress to the Advanced EMT level and challenge herself. She achieved that milestone while continuing to raise the bar as one of North Louisiana’s most dependable team members.
Wilson’s kindness and servant leadership are evident in daily actions, quietly elevating those around her through work ethic, humility, and commitment to excellence. Her professional growth and sustained excellence reflect the very best of Acadian’s standards.
Acadian’s Chairman of the Board, Fred Mills Jr., was the celebration’s master of ceremonies, Louisiana State Senator Gerald Boudreaux recited the Pledge of Allegiance, Rev. Louis Richard led the invocation, and National EMS Academy Education Coordinator Jennifer Melancon sang the national anthem.
The keynote speech was given by Dr. Marc Siegel, a Clinical Professor of Medicine and a practicing internist at NYU Langone Medical Center; medical director of Doctor Radio on SiriusXM; author of six books; and Senior Medical Analyst for Fox News.
In his remarks, Acadian Companies CEO H. Eddy Dupuis said, “The people you met today are exceptional representatives for our more than 4,000 medical team members who care for the communities we serve with clinical excellence, compassion and dedication.”
Recognizing Acadian’s partners, Dupuis continued, “Thank you as well to our fellow first responders and the teams at our partner hospitals and other healthcare facilities. Together, we serve a precious and sacred mission to protect and save lives.”
