LSUA Generals Advance to RRAC Finals with Strong Second Half

ALEXANDRIA, La. (3/2/2025) – The LSUA Generals advance to RRAC Finals after an 81-65 victory over Texas A&M-Texarkana in the tournament semifinals.

A dominant second half propelled LSUA (27-2, 22-2 RRAC) past the Eagles (20-10, 16-8 RRAC). The Generals shot 48% after halftime, sinking four three-pointers and 18 free throws.

Kashie Natt Leads the Charge

Kashie Natt powered LSUA with 24 points and 17 rebounds. He scored 17 second-half points, including 9-of-10 at the free throw line.

LSUA built an 11-point lead early in the second half, but Texarkana cut it to four. The Generals responded, pushing their advantage to 72-58 with under four minutes remaining. From there, free throws sealed the win.

Championship Rematch Set

With the LSUA Generals advancing to the RRAC Finals, they will face the University of the Southwest (N.M.) in a rematch of last year’s title game. The Mustangs, a No. 7 seed, upset No. 2 Xavier (La.) and defeated No. 6 Louisiana Christian, 75-63, in the semifinals.

The RRAC Championship tips off at 2:30 PM at Rapides Parish Coliseum in Alexandria.
