Union Parish, LA. (11/16/2022) -In a long-anticipated ruling, A grand jury has decided to indict the law enforcement officers involved in the savage attack and death of Ronald Greene.
Green, a Black man, was savagely beaten and died following a high-speed vehicle pursuit that ended near Monroe. BodyCam initially obtained by the AP show low officers tasing and brutally beating Green to death.
The video footage was withheld for two years before it was released. When the coverup that followed the beating was exposed, along with other lack of control at the LSP, Former Superintendent Kevin Reeves was forced to resign.
Two current LSP Troopers, two former LSP troopers, and one Union Parish deputy are being charged with crimes involving Green’s death. The officers are:
