Alexandria, La. (3/30/2026) — The Louisiana Small Business Development Center at LSUA is offering two upcoming training sessions designed to support small business owners and entrepreneurs.
The sessions will focus on artificial intelligence and financial planning. Both aim to provide practical tools for business growth and stability.
The first session, titled “The AI Stack: From Prompt to Output,” is scheduled for Wednesday, April 1. It will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Daniel Condell, founder of DGC Strategy, will lead the session. He works with small businesses to implement practical AI tools and strategies.
During the session, Condell will explain how to turn AI concepts into real, usable results. He will also introduce a structured approach to solving business challenges using AI.
Next, LSBDC will host a second session focused on financial planning. “Financial Foundations: Protect & Strengthen Your Business” is set for April 23.
This session will run from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and will be offered in a hybrid format. Participants can attend virtually or in person at LSUA’s Chambers Hall.
Rachel Hazelton, a commercial lender with First Guaranty Bank, will lead the workshop. She will cover strategies to protect business assets and plan for long-term stability.
The session will also address fraud prevention, data protection, and the use of technology to improve efficiency. In addition, attendees will learn about retirement planning options.
Both sessions are designed to give local business owners practical knowledge they can apply immediately. Organizers say the goal is to strengthen businesses across Central Louisiana.
