ALEXANDRIA, La. (3/4/2025) – A shooting in the Kellyland area confirmed by RPSO left one person injured Monday night. Authorities are investigating two possible suspects.
At 10 p.m., patrol deputies near Kellyland, off North Bolton Avenue, heard multiple gunshots. While responding, a deputy was flagged down and informed of a gunshot victim in the 1700 block of Roscommon Drive.
Deputies arrived and found one person suffering from a gunshot wound. They provided medical aid until Acadian Ambulance transported the victim to a local hospital.
RPSO detectives and the Crime Scene Unit launched an investigation. They believe two suspects may have been involved in the incident.
