Pollock, LA (May 4, 2024) – In the early hours of Saturday morning, multiple reports were received regarding a crash on US 165 near LA 8. The incident, which occurred around 3:00 AM, prompted responses from the Pollock Police Department, Louisiana State Police (LSP) and Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office (GPSO).
According to LSP, they assisted with chemical testing at the scene, indicating the severity of the crash. Both LSP and GPSO confirmed that the incident took place within the city limits of Pollock, causing concern among residents.
Eyewitnesses reported that the road was blocked off by Chevron on US 165 for traffic coming from La Hwy 8, adding to the chaos and disruption caused by the crash.
Despite efforts to obtain information from the Pollock Police Department, a spokesperson could not be reached for comment at the time of reporting.
