Alexandria, LA (May 4, 2024) — Tragedy struck on Saturday morning as the Alexandria Police Department responded to a single-vehicle crash on I-49 at Exit 84, resulting in the loss of 21-year-old Deasia McNeal from Alexandria, LA.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:15 AM when McNeal, traveling northbound on I-49, was attempting to exit onto the Pineville Expressway.
Unfortunately, her vehicle veered off the roadway and overturned, leading to fatal consequences. McNeal was pronounced deceased at the scene.
As authorities continue their investigation, this remains an ongoing case.
