BAKER, La. (UrbanCast: 6/10/2026) — Law enforcement officers responded to Baker High School on Wednesday morning following reports of a shooting on campus.
According to sources, one person was shot shortly after 10 a.m. Emergency responders arrived at the school as officers secured the scene and began their investigation.
At this time, the victim’s condition remains unknown. Authorities have not released information regarding the circumstances surrounding the shooting or whether any suspects have been identified.
Meanwhile, officials have not announced whether additional injuries occurred during the incident. The investigation remains active as law enforcement works to gather facts and determine what led to the shooting.
