ALEXANDRIA, La. (1/18/2025) – The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a fatal hit-and-run at the intersection of 3rd Street and University Street.
Error, no group ID set! Check your syntax!On Saturday, January 18, 2025, at approximately 1:46 AM, officers responded to the scene where a pedestrian, identified as 39-year-old Marcus Billops, was struck by a vehicle. Billops succumbed to his injuries.
The driver involved fled the scene before authorities arrived. Police are urging the public to assist in identifying the suspect and vehicle.
