Both Men Sought by RPSO Now Booked Into Rapides Parish Detention Center

RAPIDES PARISH, La. (UrbanCast: 9/17/2026) — Two men recently sought by the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office in separate domestic abuse investigations have now been booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center.

RPSO had asked the public for help locating Michael Monty Craig-Olano and Patrick Dewayne Fells. Both men appeared in the parish’s inmate inquiry system on Tuesday, September 16.

According to booking records, Craig-Olano, 22, of Pineville, was booked at approximately 11:13 a.m. His total bond was set at $17,500.

Craig-Olano was booked on the following charges:

  • Aggravated assault/domestic abuse, felony
  • Domestic abuse battery by strangulation, felony
  • Two counts of violation of protective orders

RPSO had previously identified Craig-Olano as wanted on the same general allegations when detectives with the Special Victims Unit requested the public’s assistance locating him.

Later Tuesday, Fells, 51, of Alexandria, was booked at approximately 4:31 p.m. His bond was set at $20,000.

Booking records list charges of domestic abuse battery by strangulation, a felony, and interfering with emergency communication.

The bookings mark an update to RPSO’s earlier public request for assistance locating both men.
