Deville, La. (UrbanCast: 6/30/2026) – A Deville man is facing multiple felony charges following a Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office investigation into allegations involving a juvenile.
The investigation began in early June 2026 after the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office received a complaint alleging criminal sexual conduct involving a juvenile. Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division immediately launched an investigation.
According to investigators, detectives gathered evidence supporting the allegations. As a result, they identified Keith Ryan Moss, 29, of Deville, as the suspect.
Detectives established probable cause to obtain warrants charging Moss with two counts of carnal knowledge of a juvenile and one count of indecent behavior with a juvenile.
On June 26, 2026, a patrol sergeant assigned to the Resident Deputy Program took Moss into custody after a brief foot pursuit. Authorities said the arrest occurred without incident.
Moss was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center, where he remains in custody on a $250,000 bond, according to jail records.
Meanwhile, detectives said the investigation remains active. Investigators believe there may be additional victims and are asking anyone with relevant information to come forward.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Detective John T. DeVille at the Criminal Investigation Division’s Kolin Substation at (318) 484-7350, the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office Main Office at (318) 473-6700, or Crime Stoppers at (318) 443-7867.
