CENTRAL LOUISIANA — Today, UrbanCast introduces Cenla Remembers, a new community service sharing notices of death received from funeral homes across Central Louisiana.
Cenla Remembers is not intended to replace the full obituary prepared by a family or funeral home. Our goal is to provide a respectful, easy-to-find notice so our community can learn of a passing, remember a neighbor and, when available, find information about upcoming services.
Notices are listed by date of death, with the most recent first. When service information is provided with a notice, we will also include the date, time and location.

Building Cenla Remembers
We want to thank Progressive Funeral Home, Miller & Hill Funeral Directors and Escudé Funeral Home for helping us develop and perfect this new service for Central Louisiana.
As Cenla Remembers grows, we will open the service to additional funeral homes throughout the region. Families and members of the general public will also be able to submit notices.
Notices submitted directly by the public will require official verification before publication. That safeguard will help us make sure the information we share is accurate and respectful to the families involved.
Our purpose is simple: to give Central Louisiana one more place to remember the people who were part of our communities and to help families share important service information with their neighbors.
We extend our condolences to every family represented in today’s Cenla Remembers.
