Alexandria, La. (UrbanCast: 6/30/2026) – The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Friday afternoon in the 4000 block of Sugar House Road.
Officers responded to the scene at approximately 2 p.m. on Friday, June 26, after receiving reports of a shooting.
Police said one person was transported to a local hospital. Investigators have not released additional details about the victim or the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The investigation remains ongoing.
