Alexandria, La. (UrbanCast: 6/30/2026) – The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in the 2500 block of Mason Street.
Officers responded to the scene at approximately 2:20 a.m. on Sunday, June 28, after receiving reports of a shooting.
Police said one person was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries. Investigators have not released additional details about the victim or the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
The investigation remains ongoing.
