Lecompte, La. (UrbanCast: 6/30/2026) – Lecompte police are investigating a shooting that happened Monday night on St. Charles Street.
The Lecompte Police Department confirmed the victim was airlifted to a local hospital following the shooting. Officers said the victim was in critical condition at the time of transport. The victim’s current condition remains unknown.
The shooting occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2026. Emergency responders, including an air medical helicopter, responded to the scene.
The investigation remains active. Police said no arrests have been made.
