Alexandria, La. (5/3/2026) – Alexandria Police have made an arrest following a shooting Sunday morning on Queens Court.
Officers responded around 10:45 AM to the 3500 block after reports of gunfire. When they arrived, they located both the victim and the suspect at the scene.
The victim was treated at a local hospital.
Police arrested 60-year-old Jerry Phillips III and charged him with aggravated second-degree battery. He was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center. Phillips bond is set at $5,000.
