Alexandria, La. (4/24/2026) – The Alexandria Police Department made four arrests Thursday in connection with an ongoing weapons investigation. The arrests took place on April 23, 2026, around 2:00 p.m.
During the operation, officers seized three illegal firearms. Authorities say the investigation remains active as they continue gathering information.
Police identified the individuals taken into custody. Dolmoine Gold, 24, was arrested for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and accessory after the fact.
Zactavious Mullins, 23, Titto Thompson, 18, and Derrick Charles, 21, were each arrested for illegal use of a weapon.
As the case develops, investigators say additional arrests may follow.
Meanwhile, the department continues efforts to remove illegal firearms from the community. Officials say that work remains a priority for public safety.
