TIOGA, La. (12/8/2024) – Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office Deputies are investigating a report of shots fired on Oaklane Road in Tioga. Authorities responded to the 5600 block of Oaklane Road after receiving a call about gunfire in the area.
Upon arrival, deputies found no reported injuries and were unable to locate a suspect. Sheriff’s Detectives and the Crime Scene Unit are now conducting an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The report of shots fired on Oaklane Road has raised concerns among residents. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office at 318-473-6700.
