Note: Victim Shot in Buttocks by Unknown Assailant in Passing Red Tahoe
Shreveport, LA (2/4/2024) – In the early hours of Sunday, February 4, 2024, at 2:20 am, the Shreveport Police Department (SPD) responded to a reported shooting at the intersection of Sunnybrook and Canal Boulevard.
Upon arrival, officers found a male victim who had been walking in the Sunset neighborhood when an unidentified individual in a red Tahoe with tinted windows drove by, firing shots that struck the victim in the buttocks.
The injured man was transported to Oschner LSU Hospital for medical attention. The injuries are reported as non-life-threatening.
As of now, the investigation is ongoing, and SPD is working to gather more details about the incident. The assailant remains at large, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
