Vidalia, LA (12/7/2023) – The Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office Reported a Vidalia man was charged with over 286 counts of child pornography and sexual abuse of an animal.
On December 6, 2023, the CPSO Cyber Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a Vidalia residence relative to a sexual abuse investigation. During the search, numerous electronic devices were seized and analyzed, recovering hundreds of files containing child sexual abuse material.
The suspect was taken into custody and booked without incident. There were no local victims identified during the search of the devices. However, the matter remains under investigation.
Michael H. George, 67, of Vidalia, Louisiana, was charged with 286 counts of pornography involving juveniles and sexual abuse of an animal (possessing images of animals engaged in sex with humans)
