Shreveport, LA (2/11/2024)- On February 11th, 2024, at approximately 2 a.m., the Shreveport Police Department responded to reports of gunshots near the Lakeshore Drive exit of Interstate 20.
Upon arrival, officers found a woman with a gunshot wound to her back. She was exiting I-20 onto Lakeshore Drive at the time of the incident.
The victim was promptly transported to a nearby hospital where medical professionals are working to stabilize her condition.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, with authorities seeking to identify the suspect or suspects involved.
