UPDATE: Four shot according to APD
Alexandria, LA (6/18/2023) – According to eyewitnesses and family members of the victims, a mass shooting took place at a family gathering yesterday evening after a funeral.
According to the family, four people were shot, including one fatally, after a suspect opened fire at an event off Willow Glen.
The citizens of Alexandria have truly been left in the dark about this incident, as There has been no release of any information at this time from the Alexandria Police Department and the City of Alexandria Mayor’s Office. The citizens have no information on a suspect, if he is on the run, or any other details that could put the people at ease in this case.
Micheal Caffery, Mayorial Assistant for Mayor Jacques Roy, refused several times to give an update and flat out refused to give UrbanCast and the people a statement about what was happening.
