Bunkie, La. (1/5/2025) – A shooting on Williams Street in Bunkie left a 19-year-old male in critical condition on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
The incident occurred in the 300 block during the late evening hours, according to Bunkie Police Chief Julius Mayes.
The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition. Chief Mayes stated the incident is under active investigation, and officers are working diligently to gather information.
