New Orleans Police seek a man and woman as “persons of interest” in the homicide investigation of comedian, Boogie B

New Orleans, LA (12/27/2022) – New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) is asking for the public’s assistance in locating two subjects and a vehicle being sought in connection with an ongoing homicide investigation regarding the death of Brandon “Boogie B” Montrell.

On December 23, 2022, Eighth District officers responded to a call of a shooting in the 700 block of Baronne Street. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, a 43-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his body. EMS pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Through investigation, a silver Nissan Altima (pictured, License Plate #488EXW) has been identified as the vehicle allegedly used by the perpetrators of this homicide.

Additionally, Investigators are asking for help in locating Tralana Tanyell Humphrey (pictured, black female) and Darryl Love (pictured, black male, DOB: 09/16/1998), who have been identified as persons of interest in this incident.  Humphrey and Love are not wanted for this incident, but investigators believe they may have information vital to the investigation.
