Grant Parish, LA (11/20/2024) – A Houston man smuggling $499,550 in drugs into a federal prison was arrested after a joint investigation.
The Grant and Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Offices apprehended Marco Antonio Ulloa, 19, of Houston, Texas. The arrest followed the discovery of large quantities of illegal substances.
Ulloa faces multiple charges, including three counts of possession with intent to distribute cocaine, methamphetamine, and ketamine. He was also cited for driving left of center by the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office.
The Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office issued additional warrants for Ulloa, including attempting to take contraband into a federal prison, attempting to distribute synthetic cannabinoids and THC wax, and criminal trespassing.
This arrest highlights law enforcement’s commitment to preventing contraband from entering federal prisons. Further updates regarding this case are pending.
