Alexandria, LA (2/25/2024) – On Saturday, February 24, 2024, at approximately 8:30 PM, authorities from the Alexandria Police Department (APD) responded to a distress call at a local hospital concerning a female victim who sustained a gunshot wound believed to be the result of a domestic altercation.
The incident occurred in the 700 block of Willow Glen River Road.
According to official reports, the suspect in the shooting has been identified as 21-year-old Letrayvious Brown, a resident of Alexandria, Louisiana. The Alexandria Police Department has issued a warrant for Brown’s arrest, charging him with one count of Aggravated Assault with a Firearm in connection to the incident.
Efforts to apprehend the suspect have been underway, with law enforcement actively seeking his whereabouts. However, as of the time of this report, the Alexandria Police Department has yet to locate Brown.
