Washington, DC (1/4/2023) – Congresswoman Julie Letlow hosted a group of Pineville High Students in Washington, D.C., as the 118th Congress got its kickoff.Â
It is very inspiring to see a politician invested in the success of their community. There is no better place to seek improvement in a community than to start with kids. Seeing these kids involved in this lends credence to the idea that one or several may one day come back and be the leaders of this community.Â
We need active politicians in Cenla. We need politicians who understand the youth are the backbone of a thriving society.
Julia Letlow is showing she gets that. She wants better for Cenla, not just holding up progress in a seat and not moving the area forward.Â
You know, most politicians who represent Cenla on the state level and the national level you never hear from them until it’s election time. You don’t see the work being done that is needed to bring Cenla some much-needed progress.Â
Congresswoman Letlow is different. She is out in it and invested in District 5’s success. Thank you, mam.Â
Continue to set the example of what a working politician should look and feel like. We hope we get more leaders in our community like you.
