Livingston Parish, La. (11/21/2022) – According to Sheriff Jason Ard, LPSO was involved in a short pursuit before a crash. Deputies attempted to stop the driver, who was wanted for outstanding felony warrants. The driver refused to stop & collided with another vehicle after crossing the center line.
The driver is being treated at a local hospital. His two passengers are deceased. We are still working to contact the next of kin at this hour. Those in the other vehicle are treated for moderate to serious injuries at a local hospital.

Deputies with the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office & our First Responder partners are currently on the scene of a double fatality/crash on LA Hwy 16 north of Sims Road.
