Pineville Man Arrested on Rape, Kidnapping Charges; Bond Exceeds $2 Million

PINEVILLE, La. (UrbanCast: 10/28/2026) — A Pineville man faces more than $2 million in bonds following his arrest on rape and kidnapping charges.

The Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office (RPSO) confirmed the arrest of 41-year-old Arion Lee Ryan and provided UrbanCast with his booking photograph.

According to jail records, authorities booked Ryan into Rapides Parish Detention Center 1 on October 22, 2026, at 2:33 p.m.

Ryan faces charges of second-degree rape and simple kidnapping. He also faces a charge of using a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a person under 17.

Jail records show authorities set bond at $1 million for each of the rape and kidnapping charges. An additional $1,000 bond for the drug-related charge brings the total to $2,001,000.

Additionally, Rapides Parish jail records show Ryan has a history of previous bookings dating back several years. However, those records do not establish convictions or indicate how the earlier cases were resolved.

As of the publication of this article, Ryan remains in custody at the Rapides Parish Detention Center 1.

All charges remain allegations. Ryan is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
