ALEXANDRIA, La. (UrbanCast: 7/21/2026) — Residents interested in healthcare training and career opportunities will have the chance to explore Unitech Training Academy during an open house on Tuesday, Aug. 4, at its Alexandria campus.
The event will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 2800 S. MacArthur Drive, Suite C. Organizers invite prospective students, families, and community members to tour the campus and learn about the school’s programs.
Visitors can participate in a mock clinic experience, where they step into the role of a patient while exploring hands-on training environments. The event also highlights how classroom instruction translates into real-world healthcare careers.
In addition, attendees can meet local clinical and hiring partners who work with Unitech students. Organizers say the event is designed to connect future graduates with career opportunities in Central Louisiana.
The Rapides Parish Library will also attend. Library staff will offer library card sign-ups, student resources, an event guide, and door prizes. Organizers say additional community guests are expected to join the lineup.
The open house is free and open to the public. Those considering a career in healthcare or looking to learn more about vocational education are encouraged to attend.
