Pineville, La. (4/19/2026) — A late-night fire just outside Pineville left a family without a home and searching for support.
The Pineville house fire began around 11:47 p.m. Saturday at a residence in the 2000 block of Old Marksville Highway. According to the homeowner, the flames spread quickly and consumed the structure within minutes.
As a result, the home is considered a total loss. There was no way to salvage anything inside.
Emergency crews responded from multiple departments. Holiday Village Volunteer Fire Department District 4 confirmed the fire, while Pineville Fire Department also assisted on scene. Several units worked together to bring the blaze under control.
Fortunately, everyone inside the home escaped safely. However, the Oliver family lost all personal belongings in the fire.
The Family
The family includes two parents and three teenage boys. They are now in urgent need of clothing and basic necessities as they begin to rebuild. The following clothing sizes were provided to assist those looking to donate:
M: pants size 16-18, 2X shirt, size 9 shoes.
T1: 34/34 pants, XL shirt, size 14 shoes.
T2: 34/34 pants, XL shirt, size 14.5 shoes.
T3: 36/34 pants, 2X shirt, size 12 shoes.
D: 38/32 pants, large shirt, size 13.5 shoes.
Donations may be coordinated through family members, with a designated drop-off location expected to be announced soon.
In response, a fundraiser has been launched to help the family recover. Community members are encouraged to donate or share the effort to support them during this time.

Meanwhile, the cause of the fire has not yet been officially released.
