Four Killed in St. James Parish Christmas Morning Crash on LA 641

The St. James Parish Christmas morning crash claimed four lives and left two others injured, according to Louisiana State Police. The deadly crash happened early Christmas morning in Gramercy.

At approximately 3:45 a.m. on December 25, 2025, Troopers with Louisiana State Police Troop A began investigating the crash. It occurred on LA 641, south of Interstate 10, in St. James Parish.

The crash involved two vehicles and resulted in multiple fatalities. Troopers identified the victims as 35-year-old Tyreione Parker, 29-year-old Kedrick Robertson, and 35-year-old Gevin Harvey, all of Baton Rouge. Additionally, 22-year-old Christina Gillam of Shreveport also died.

According to the preliminary investigation, Parker drove a 2008 Honda Accord northbound on LA 641. At the same time, a 2019 GMC Sierra traveled southbound on the same roadway.

For reasons still under investigation, Parker lost control of the Honda. As a result, the vehicle rotated, crossed into the southbound lane, and struck the GMC Sierra.

Parker was unrestrained and suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Meanwhile, Robertson, the front-seat passenger, and rear passengers Gillam and Harvey also rode unrestrained. They suffered severe injuries and were transported to local hospitals. Sadly, all three later died from their injuries.

In addition, a 13-year-old rear-seat passenger was improperly restrained. The child sustained moderate injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The driver of the GMC Sierra was properly restrained during the crash. That driver suffered moderate injuries and was also taken to a local hospital.

Impairment remains unknown at this time. However, troopers obtained standard toxicology samples and will submit them for analysis. The investigation into the St. James Parish Christmas morning crash remains ongoing.

Louisiana State Police urge motorists to make responsible driving decisions. Avoid impairment, fatigue, and distractions. Always follow traffic laws and ensure every passenger wears proper restraints. While not all crashes are survivable, simple precautions can save lives.
