ALEXANDRIA, La. (4/8/2025) – Alexandria Police have arrested a 78-year-old man in connection with the Kroger armed robbery that occurred on Saturday, April 5.
Rudolph Lucien of Alexandria turned himself in to authorities on Monday, April 7, around 7:30 PM. Police booked Lucien into the Rapides Parish Detention Center on one count of armed robbery.
The robbery happened in the 1400 block of MacArthur Drive. The Kroger armed robberyprompted concern due to the suspect’s age and the nature of the crime.
This case remains under active investigation. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
