Alexandria Man Arrested for Multiple Vehicle Burglaries in West Pointe Subdivision

ALEXANDRIA, La. (3/5/2025) – An Alexandria man arrested for multiple vehicle burglaries now faces 21 charges after a months-long investigation into thefts in the West Pointe Subdivision.

Police took Torrence Bowens Jr., 19, of Alexandria, into custody on March 2, 2025. Investigators linked him to vehicle burglaries that occurred between November 2024 and January 2025.

Authorities charged Bowens with thirteen counts of vehicle burglary, seven counts of attempted vehicle burglary, and one count of theft between $1,000 and $5,000. He was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center, where his bond is set at $210,000.

The Alexandria Police Department continues investigating the Alexandria man arrested for multiple vehicle burglaries and urges residents to report any suspicious activity.
