Alexandria, LA (8/11/2024) – A crash occurred at the corner of Midway and 24th Street Sunday evening. UrbanCast/involvedinitall.com has received multiple reports from the scene.
Residents described hearing a loud bang around 6:30 PM. A female teen was ejected from an SUV during the crash. Other occupants, believed to be teens wearing ski masks, fled from the scene.
The vehicle involved was reported stolen earlier in the day. The injured teen appeared to suffer head and leg injuries. She was taken to a local hospital by ambulance.
This Midway and 24th Street crash has alarmed the local community, highlighting issues of vehicle theft, shootings and general public safety. The situation is still unfolding.
