Alexandria Teen Public Safety Camp Fuels Future First Responders

Calling all future heroes! The Alexandria Division of Community Services is igniting a passion for public safety with its Teen Police & Fire Camp this summer.

Teens aged 12-17 can dive into the world of first responders during this exciting week-long program held at the Public Safety Complex (1000 Bolton Ave) from June 24th to June 28th, from 9 AM to 12 PM.

This camp offers a unique opportunity for young minds to explore careers in law enforcement, firefighting, and emergency medical services (EMS). Campers will gain valuable hands-on experience through interactive exercises, demonstrations, and guest speaker sessions led by dedicated Alexandria Police and Fire Department personnel.

More than just career exploration, the camp will equip teens with essential life and safety skills. This includes topics like CPR/First Aid, conflict resolution, crime prevention, and fire safety.

Space is limited! Secure your spot for only $25 per child by registering online today: https://www.cityofalexandriala.com/cenla-ready/utilities
