Sabine Parish, LA (April 7, 2024) – Tragedy struck early this morning when a house fire claimed the lives of two individuals in Sabine Parish, Louisiana.
Shortly before 2:00 AM, Sabine Parish Sheriff Dispatch received a distressing 9-1-1 call reporting a house engulfed in flames on Brunson Drive, situated off Bray Road, just off LA Highway 191 in the Lanana Bay area of Toledo Bend Lake.
Responding to the emergency, Sabine Parish Sheriff Deputies, along with personnel from Central and North Sabine Fire Districts, and the Louisiana Office of State Fire Marshal rushed to the scene.
Reports indicate that four men were present inside the residence at the time of the blaze, but tragically, only two managed to escape the inferno.
