Alexandria, LA (2/14/2024) – In a decisive move aimed at advancing economic development initiatives in Greater Alexandria, Angela Varnado has been appointed as the Executive Director of the Greater Alexandria Economic Development Authority (GAEDA).
The announcement came following a unanimous vote by the Board of Commissioners during a special called meeting.
Varnado’s ascension to this key leadership role follows her recent tenure as the Acting Executive Director, where she stepped in admirably due to the illness of former Executive Director, Clifford J. Moller. With over a decade of dedicated service to GAEDA, Varnado brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her new position.
