Alexandria, LA (10/5/2023) – Award-winning composer and songwriter Dylan Trần will be joined by the ASH, Pineville, and Bolton high school choirs in performing musical pieces utilizing text from Jack Bedell, Louisiana Poet Laureate (2017-2019).
This performance will be the premiere of these choral pieces about Louisiana, with poetry from a Louisiana Poet Laureate, music by a Louisiana composer, and premiered by Louisiana high schools from the composer’s hometown!
The show starts at 6:30 pm in the City of Alexandria Amphitheater downtown. The City of Alexandria, LSUA, GEADA, and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation, Inc. are sponsoring this event.
