UPDATE: According to the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office (APSO), multiple police agencies assisted Mansura Police Department (MPD) in arresting a man wanted for multiple charges.
Chadrick James was arrested for suspected armed robbery, criminal trespass, aggravated battery, disturbing the peace, and resisting an officer
James was taken into custody after hours of negotiation without incident after being located in an attic.

Mansura, LA (7/7/2023) – According to multiple sources, multiple policing agencies were on the scene of a standoff in Mansura, Louisiana.
The incident was across from the corner of Porterie Street and St. Jean Street. At least one person was taken into custody by police, according to sources
