Southerly winds are expected to increase starting into the late morning, becoming strong sustained winds with high wind gusts by 1 PM.
Thus, a Wind Advisory has been issued for all counties and parishes to begin at 1 PM and continue until 1 AM tonight (Friday Morning). South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph expected.
Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down, and a few power outages may result.
