Two Rapides Parish Men Arrested in Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Investigation; One Faces Negligent Homicide Charge

RAPIDES PARISH, La. (5/30/2026) — Two Rapides Parish men were arrested this week following an investigation by the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, according to records from the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Joshua White, 47, of Ball, was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center on May 27, 2026, at 8:39 p.m. He was charged with negligent homicide, obstruction of justice through evidence tampering, filing or maintaining false public records, and careless operation of a vehicle.

White’s total bond was set at $110,000. Records show he was released on May 28, 2026, at 11:37 a.m.

Meanwhile, Terry Dale Gaspard Jr., 46, of Pineville, was booked on May 27, 2026, at 8:07 p.m. He was charged with obstruction of justice through evidence tampering and filing or maintaining false public records.

Gaspard’s total bond was set at $10,000. Records show he was released on May 28, 2026, at 10:53 a.m.

According to the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office, both men were arrested by the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries.

Authorities have not yet released additional details regarding the investigation or the circumstances that led to the charges.
