Alexandria, La. (Oct. 20, 2022) – The Alexandria Police Department (APD) is looking for a suspect in a shooting that injured two people. The shooting occurred this afternoon at the intersection of Sunset Drive and Monroe Street.
APD officers responded around 2:25 p.m. to the intersection about several reports of shots fired in the area. Upon arrival, officers found two male victims, ages 45 and 30, both of Alexandria, with non-life-threatening wounds. Both were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Detectives have no suspects at this time.
