Pineville, LA (2/16/2024) – At approximately 5:30 PM, a stabbing incident occurred in the 1700 Block of Donahue Ferry Road in Pineville, Louisiana, resulting in one individual sustaining injuries.
The victim, whose identity remains undisclosed, was assaulted by a male perpetrator identified as Maurice White, a 56-year-old resident of Pineville. White, described as a black male standing approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 185 pounds, is currently sought by authorities in connection with the incident.
Following the attack, the victim was transported to a nearby hospital by a family member for urgent medical treatment. The victim is currently in stable condition and receiving medical care.
An arrest warrant has been obtained for attempted second-degree murder for Mr. White, and law enforcement agencies are actively searching for him.
