SIMMESPORT, La. (UrbanCast: 7/8/2026) — The Simmesport Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted in connection with a violent domestic incident.
Police identified the suspect as Devin Nicholas Adams, 36. Investigators said he is wanted on charges of domestic abuse battery, second-degree battery, and aggravated battery.
According to the department, officers responded to the reported incident and contacted an adult female who alleged she had been brutally assaulted.
Furthermore, investigators said the victim reported Adams attempted to run her over with a vehicle before leaving the scene.
Police believe Adams is driving a white Nissan Titan pickup truck with reported damage.
Authorities urge the public not to approach Adams if he is seen. Instead, anyone with information about his location should contact their local law enforcement agency or call 911 immediately.
