Shreveport, LA (4/4/2023) – The Shreveport Police Department (SPD) reported on April 1, 2023, at 4:30 a.m., Shreveport Police officers responded to an armed person in the 400 block of Commerce Street.
On arrival, the responding officers learned that a female identified as Alexis Ware, 24, was causing a disturbance outside of a local business. SPD Officers were informed that Ware had threatened individuals while armed with a handgun. The suspect reportedly pointed the gun at a victim and stated, “I’m going to kill you.”
Ware was arrested for one count of aggravated assault, one count of illegally carrying weapons, and one count of illegally possessing a weapon in a bar or nightclub.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
