Pineville, LA (5/2/2023) – Pineville Police Department (PPD) reported a man was shot and killed just after midnight on Monday, May 1, 2023.
PPD received a report of a shooting on Holloway Street at Prairie Street. The first officers on the scene found the body of Tucker Gibson, 26 years old, of Pineville, Louisiana. Gibson was found deceased from several gunshot wounds.
PPD Criminal Investigation Bureau responded, and through an investigation that continued through the night, they arrested Rayford Brice III, 18 years old, of Pineville, Louisiana.

Brice, III has been charged with second-degree murder and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center #1. Brice III’s bond is set at $1,000,000.
