AVOYELLES PARISH, La. (2/9/2025) – The Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office confirmed Kevin Dugas in custody after deputies arrested him without incident on February 8, 2025.
Sheriff David Dauzat and his team located and apprehended Dugas in the afternoon hours.
Authorities had been searching for Dugas, and multiple law enforcement agencies assisted in the effort. Concerned citizens also provided valuable tips that contributed to his capture.
Sheriff Dauzat expressed gratitude to all participating agencies and the community for their support. Officials have not yet released further details about the charges against Dugas.
