Alexandria, LA (July 20, 2024) – UrbanCast and invilvedinitall.com have learned through multiple sources about a fatal incident on Sycamore Street.
According to witnesses, police tape surrounded the site, and Alexandria Police officers and detectives were seen canvassing the area.
The Rapides Parish Coroner’s Office confirmed that on July 19, 2024, they responded to the 2200 block of W. Sycamore St in Alexandria for the death of a male subject from out of state, who suffered a fatal medical emergency.
Notification of next of kin is still pending, and an autopsy is scheduled.
City officials in Alexandria have released no further information through sporadic channels. As of now, no additional details are known.
